Many ANC Youth League ( ANCYL ) visitors were shocked on thirty March when the message "Julius Malema to Step Down as Youth League President" featured as the primary story. The ANCYL web site was taken down for a short time after the safety break, and the draft was afterwards removed. The ANC web site was also hacked a couple of days back, redirecting visitors to a Turkish site. According to Town Press, ANC speaker and countrywide executive committee member Jackson Mthembu declared the hacking was in bad taste, and promised to "unhack" the site.
