The iPhone 5 could ship on the 5th of September; that’s the word from an anonymous source from Swisscom.
September 5th is a public holiday in America, meaning the exact date is unlikely to be accurate. However, there claim does hint at a possibly early September release for the device.
There are other factors that point towards an early September release, such as a report claiming that Pegatron was hired by Apple to manufacture 15 million iPhones, which it has since started.
