Bing better than Google
2011-08-15
A new search-engine study has identified Microsoft's Bing as better than Google judging by the amount of results users basically click. The study, by web tracking firm Experian Hitwise revealed that some eighty percent of Bing searches led on to a trip to one of the sites identified in the results, compared with just 67 % of Google searches. The study claimed the comparatively high share of searches that did not end in a trip to an internet site pointed to the fact that both the number one search websites had serious chances to improve their results. The report revealed that Google's chunk of the US search market dropped two percent in July to 66.05 percent as Bing-powered searches increased by one % to 28.05 %.
