Setting Up Email for the Motorola DROID

1. Expand the App menu (tap the upward pointing arrow at the bottom of your main screen).
2. Tap the Email icon.
3. Enter your full email address and password.
4. Tap the Next button.
5. Select POP3 or IMAP
6. Enter your full email address for the Username and your email password for the Password.
7. The incoming mail server is mail.yourdomain.com (replaced yourdomain.com with your actual domain name).
8. Change the security setting at your own discretion (we recommend None, at least for now).
9. Tap the Next button.
10. The outgoing SMTP server is mail.yourdomain.com (replaced yourdomain.com with your actual domain name).
11. Change the security setting at your own discretion (we recommend None, at least for now).
12. Check the box next to Require sign-in and enter your full email address and password.
13. Tap the Next button.
14. Select your email checking and notification options.
15. Tap the Next button.
16. Name the account and choose a display name.
17. Tap the Done button.

Now your phone should start processing the settings and connect to your email. If it works well, then you may attempt to update your settings to use SSL.
